I know most directors specialize in a genre or two. I’ve intentionally avoided sticking to one category or style. Instead, I strive to take the best of many genres, techniques, and styles, combining them in meaningful ways to create one-of-a-kind narrative experiences.
Somewhere along the way, I inadvertently developed a broader signature style, which embraces inventive visual storytelling, grounded in humanity, narrative depth, and memorable characters.
In fact, a key reason I was an early adapter of generative AI was to use it behind-the-scenes to prototype ideas. More recently, I developed Hybrid Intelligence because I don’t think AI is anywhere near ready to suitably replace humanity, either behind or in front of the camera.
