In short, I am a versatile and collaborative director, writer, and creator with a track record of elevating ideas to their best possible form, originating new visual styles to convey messages, and creating impactful stories and characters.
I've applied this "emotional visual storytelling" approach to a wide range of genres and project types, with notable work including Sam Raimi’s hit cable series "Spartacus: Blood & Sand", which I also developed and helped to launch; the global introduction video for Microsoft's amazing Augmented Reality device, the HoloLens; writing and directing music videos for artists such as Katy Perry, Beck, and Capital Cities; and directing award-winning commercials for global brands across virtually every category, including Anthems, Beauty, Celebrity, Comedy, Dialogue, Documentary, Fashion, Installations, Product, Sports, Sci-Fi, and Visual Storytelling.
My work has been honored with an MTV Video Music Award, a Grammy nomination, and multiple awards from the AICP, D&AD, the Clios, The One Show, Art Directors Club, the People's Choice Awards, Siggraph, MVPAs, and more. I've also been recognized in Boards Magazine’s “Directors to Watch” and “Top 10 Directors in Demand” lists, named to Rolling Stone magazine’s “Hot List” as a music video director, and my work has been featured in Wired, Entertainment Weekly, Ad Age, WSJ, Time, and others - and has collectively garnered over a billion hits on YouTube.
